What skills do I need to volunteer?

We welcome volunteers with all kinds of skills and experience levels. Whether you have expertise in sports coaching, arts and crafts, event management, digital media, or simply enthusiasm and a willingness to help, there's a place for you in our team. We provide training and support for all volunteers.

How much time do I need to commit as a volunteer?

We offer flexible volunteering opportunities to accommodate different schedules. You can volunteer for one-time events, regular weekly sessions, or specific project phases. Even a few hours a month can make a significant difference. In your application, you can specify your availability, and we'll work to find opportunities that match your schedule.

What does a school partnership involve?

School partnerships can be tailored to your institution's needs and capacity. Options include hosting workshops or events, incorporating our curriculum resources into your teaching, arranging VR experience showcases, or establishing longer-term programs. We work closely with schools to develop partnerships that benefit students while fitting within existing schedules and resources.

Can organizations outside of Wales partner with Cymru Unleashed?

Yes, while our activities are focused in Wales, we welcome partnerships with organizations from across the UK and beyond. These collaborations can bring valuable perspectives, resources, and opportunities to our participants. We're particularly interested in partnerships that can help expand our reach or enhance our programming.

Is there a cost for schools to participate?

Thanks to our funders and sponsors, most of our school programs are offered at no or minimal cost. Our digital resources are completely free to access, and many of our workshops are fully funded. For certain specialized programs or ongoing partnerships, there may be costs involved, but we work with schools to find funding solutions and ensure that financial constraints don't prevent participation.

What types of sponsorship opportunities are available?

We offer various sponsorship packages, from event-specific sponsorships to program-wide partnerships. Benefits can include brand visibility across our platforms, recognition at events, content collaboration, employee engagement opportunities, and impact reporting.
